Another

We had another guest speaker yesterday in class...not from the Greenbrier, but rather from the World Wide Workshop Foundation. His name was David and he talked to all of us about our games and our plans and how we've been doing so far. He gave us some insight along with two other ladies who were on the phone. I think it was beneficial hearing different opinions and getting suggestions from people who know what they're doing. It seems things are coming together pretty nicely for the class... Now if only applying for college was going that smoothly...

Deja Vu?

I didn't get to blog again at the end of class... We had a guest speaker from the Greenbrier the last part of the class, he told us a lot of the history of the hotel. It was pretty interesting. But before that, the team answered some of the questions on our wiki page. Andrew started drawing one of characters with the drawing pad, it's looking pretty good... I'm glad he can draw cause I am definitely no artist. But that doesn't mean I won't attempt...

Opps

I forgot to blog Friday afternoon in class... But only because Erica and I were working on uploading our paper prototyping video. We didn't get it uploaded Friday cause the moderator hadn't approved it on teachertube yet...But no worries, I put it on the team's wiki today so all should be well.

Presentations

Today the three groups presented their own game. Kevin thinks his game is beast... All the games seem pretty interesting though. After today we will soon be able to really start working on them. I'm excited to see the final outcome at the end of the year!

Rockettes

Well I left school early yesterday to go home and get ready to go to Charleston to see the Radio City Rockettes! They are absolutely amazing, words can't even describe. Actually perfect would describe them well. But yeah, I saw them last year and they were just as great. I want to be one soooo bad but sadly I am not tall enough... It's really quite depressing but nothing I can do about it. I got to experiment with Warfield's new drawing pad...it's soo cool! It's really weird, takes some adjusting, but once you get it, it's fun. It'll be really helpful with the games too, I wish I was a better drawer that way I could actually use it to make something nice...Once again, all I can say is oh well. It's all good though.

Again

Today we worked on paper prototyping again. We got a lot more finished than before but we've still got a few more things to do. We're still on schedule to present Monday, we'll be the second team to do so. I also made a paper airplane today, I'm excited about it, it's pretty awesome :) But yeah, things are progressing quite nicely with Globaloria now.

Paper Prototyping

Today we worked on paper prototyping in class. I find this word very hard to type but that's beside the point. We have to present this next week in class so we'll have to finish our prototyping soon. I still don't have my computer now...still depressed but it's alright. School is over so until next time...
